Design Consciousness and the Quest for Balance and Harmony

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post are yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

What are some of the patterns of thought that bring Design Consciousness to awareness?

symbolism  noun: the use of symbols to represent ideas or qualities: • symbolic meaning attributed to natural objects or facts. • (also Symbolism) an artistic and poetic movement or style using symbolic images and indirect suggestion to express mystical ideas, emotions, and states of mind. It originated in late 19th century France and Belgium, with important figures including Mallarmé, Maeterlinck, Verlaine, Rimbaud, and Redon.

symbols noun: a mark or character used as a conventional representation of an object, function, or process, e g. the letter or letters standing for a chemical element or a character in musical notation. • a shape or sign used to represent something such as an organization, e.g. a red cross or a Star of David. a thing that represents or stands for something else, especially a material object representing something abstract:

signs noun: a sign of affection: indication, signal, symptom, pointer, suggestion, intimation, mark, manifestation, demonstration, token, evidence; literary sigil. a sign of things to come: portent, omen, warning, forewarning, augury, presage, danger sign; promise, threat. at his sign the soldiers followed: gesture, signal, wave, gesticulation, cue, nod. he read the sign on the wall: notice, signpost, signboard, warning sign, road sign, traffic sign, guidepost, marquee. the dancers were daubed with signs: symbol, mark, cipher, letter, character, figure, hieroglyph, ideogram, rune, emblem, device, logo.

analogy  noun: (plural analogies) a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification: • a correspondence or partial similarity: • a thing which is comparable to something else in significant respects • Logic a process of arguing from similarity in known respects to similarity in other respects. • Biology the resemblance of function between organs that have a different evolutionary origin.

metaphor  noun: a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable:  • a thing regarded as representative or symbolic of something else, especially something abstract

simile  noun: a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid (e.g., as brave as a lion, crazy like a fox). • the use of simile.

allegory noun: (plural allegories) a story, poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one: • a symbol.

Design Proposition:
design + consciousness = awareness
awareness + design = consciousness
consciousness + awareness = design

DESIGN AS METAPHOR

Modeled within the parameters of space and time design might best be represented as a simple fulcrum where the concepts of meaning and purpose are "weighed in reference to each other". Design is the pivot and consciousness the lever in the search for balance and harmony. Design creates the axial point about which an observer views every situation and circumstance.

Design plays a central role in recognizing, describing, understanding, measuring, perceiving, observing and comprehending the concept of consciousness.

Finding what is meaningful and purposeful in Life rests upon finding and maintaining a balance between these two conscious agents.

meaning noun what is meant by a word, text, concept, or action:      implied or explicit significance:      important or worthwhile quality; purposeadjective [attributive] intended to communicate something that is not directly expressed:
purpose noun  the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists:      a person's sense of resolve or determination:      (usually purposes) a particular requirement or consideration, typically one that is temporary or restricted in scope or extent:

Design is essential in acquiring a greater understanding of consciousness. Design is the instrument an observer employs in order to monitor changes in consciousness. Design brings sovereignty to the observer. Design is the instrument that provides, substantiates, sustains, maintains, validates, assists, and encourages creativity.

Design and consciousness are analogous, kindred equivalents engaged in a dualistic relationship, partners in a dance of energy in motion, witnesses within a quantum field of virtual potential (QFVP).

Design is the point upon which the lever of consciousness rests and is supported, the fulcrum where contrasting components can find balance, stability, permanence and unity through awareness.

DESIGN + CONSCIOUSNESS = AWARENESS

awareness noun  knowledge or perception of a situation or fact:      concern about and well-informed interest in a particular situation or development:

Awareness is a product of both design and consciousness. Awareness is a facet, a characteristic, a component, a dimension and a feature of consciousness observed in alignment with design. Awareness is central to consciousness and at the "point of Design".

In order to become balanced one must become aware.
In order to become aware one must become balanced.
Awareness is at the central intersection of consciousness and design.
The hub, the linchpin, the focus and the nucleus at the heart of pure wholeness.
The observer discovers meaning and purpose by means of awareness - making it one in the same.

Consciousness relies upon design to find balance between events and experiences that together and at the moment, symbolically describe it. Consciousness re-presents itself by means of design, i.e. a network of symbolic associations between dissimilar agents and elements. Design provides a network of seen and unseen languages that connect consciousness with the unconscious by means of the subconscious.

Design encourages, generates and provides for a countless number of options/choices towards balance and enlightenment. Design is both inclusionary and exclusionary with some situations being more meaningful than others.

Choice determines the path and accountability its guiding force.

An observer affectively directs the intensity and duration, i.e. dynamics, made symbolically apparent in every event and experience. Every perception/ observation brings to light/awareness a circumstance in search of balance.

THE OBSERVER

Design facilitates the inspiration, inception, origination, generation and production of every field, system, matrix and network. Design brings consciousness to awareness and awareness to consciousness.

element        1 a part or aspect of something abstract, especially one that is essential or characteristic:     a small but significant presence of a feeling or abstract quality:       (elements) the rudiments of a branch of knowledge:      [usually with modifier] (often elements) a group of people of a particular kind within a larger group or organization:      (elements) (in church use) the bread and wine of the Eucharist.      Mathematics & Logic an entity that is a single member of a set. 2 (also chemical element) each of more than one hundred substances that cannot be chemically interconverted or broken down into simpler substances and are primary constituents of matter. Each element is distinguished by its atomic number, i.e. the number of protons in the nuclei of its atoms.      any of the four substances (earth, water, air, and fire) regarded as the fundamental constituents of the world in ancient and medieval philosophy.      a person's or animal's natural or preferred environment:
Design describes the process of balancing. Consciousness observes every event/experience by means of perception and observation. Consciousness is clearly woven into the meaning and purpose supporting design. Consciousness and design run in unison one always leading the other and it is upon this relationship that all Life evolves.

Design and consciousness create a central position within every event and experience. Design plays a pivotal role in every circumstance, consciousness affords the situation. Design describes both the observer and the context in which every observation is made. Design is stationed at the center of every event and experience. Consciousness creates the field where these events and experiences are made cognizant. Design is at the center of consciousness, at the focal point where the awareness of the moment (focus) finds its place in the dynamics of the field/context/situation/circumstances encountered.

The relationship between design and consciousness is a matter of finding balance/harmony between forms of energy in motion.

Design consciousness describes a symbolic act of correspondence between the particle and wave, yin and yang, meaning and purpose.

Energy, Information and Light create a triplicity of One in the same. Balance lies within the scope of a perceiver, is discovered by an observer and made apparent by the designer.

"Love itself is neutrality. Love does not operate in duality."

Balance and harmony are not easily attainable. Both design and consciousness must develop strong symbolic ties if greater awareness is to be experienced. Both components need to be recognized if any sense of awareness is to made conscionable.

recognize verb [with object] 1 identify (someone or something) from having encountered them before; know again:  identify from knowledge of appearance or character: (of a computer or other machine) automatically identify and respond correctly to (a sound, printed character, etc.). 2 acknowledge the existence, validity, or legality of:
Design is central to the origin of the universe. Design is pivotal in facilitating the creation and emergence of "energy in motion". Design is pivotal in the process of materialization and attraction. Design becomes a force by means of attraction, consolidation, and stabilization. As result of the relationship between meaning and purpose design combines, unites, integrates, synthesizes and fuses awareness into a network/field of consciousness.

Balance posits energy in motion.
posit verb (posits, positing, posited)     1 [with object] assume as a fact; put forward as a basis of argument:     (posit something on) base something on the truth of (a particular assumption): Balance implies a sense of understanding between the observer and the context in which an event is experienced.
Energy, light and information is constantly changing. These contextual states, i.e. fields of energy in motion, surround, penetrate and beget all recognizable phenomenon, including non lingual expressions of vibration made apparent through symbolic means. Virtual and unobservable in context these impressions become symbolically, metaphorically and analogically recognized by means of awareness.

Virtual in character, soundless in timbre and percolating with potential, design and consciousness together give cadence to a causal Source that proffers its intrinsic properties and substantiated presence throughout the universe.

“In particular, our research shows how electromagnetism is an inherent property of spacetime itself. In a way, spacetime itself is therefore the aether. Electric and magnetic fields represent certain local tensions or twists in the spacetime fabric.

John Wheeler, the famous physicist, put forward the idea that all of the material world is constructed from the geometry of the spacetime. Our research strongly supports this kind of natural philosophy. It means that the material world always corresponds to some geometric structures of spacetime. Tensions in spacetime manifest themselves as electric and magnetic fields. Moreover, electric charge relates to some compressibility properties of spacetime. Electric current seems to be a re-balancing object, which transports charge in order to keep the spacetime manifold Ricci-flat. This is aesthetically pleasing, as nature seems to strive for harmony, efficiency and simplicity.”
Electromagnetism is a property of spacetime itself, study finds

To observers positioned in three dimensional space and four dimensional time, every event and experience harbors a meaning and a purpose. Situations emerge as result of the relationship between the observable and the observer, between the design and designer and between consciousness and the subconscious. Every circumstance imaginable and unimaginable emerges from within an energetic, informational and illuminating quantum field of virtual potential (QFVP).

An observer is a sensor. Dependent upon focus, i.e. POV, concepts of meaning and purpose (consciousness) can appear to be a black, grey or white issue or, non existent at all.  Technology both limits and expands our sense of awareness by means of observation i.e. algorithms, created and designed to enhance and/or expand our insights and imagination. Observations, i.e. thoughts and feelings made in reference to these circumstances, are subconscious in origin and repeatedly tinted, filtered and reconfigured over spacetime (experience).

Design elements, i.e. signs, symbols, etc, are easily attainable and palpable, yet can be difficult to ascertain and interpret. We all speak different languages. Observing and/or maintaining balance within the context of these circumstances is often limited, difficult and complicated - all examples of a conditioned response to past paradigms.

Design Metaphysics: The Design Fulcrum

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post are yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

A point describes the center of every circle. This point describes the nucleus at the heart of every field of energy. Metaphorically speaking a circle along with its centered point of origin describes a perfect geometry. The source of the circle is a point about which a field is inscribed in space and time. The center marks a circle's origin, its genesis, its nucleus, its spark. The center of a circle describes and pinpoints its source, the scope and the range of its creative influence.

inscribe verb [with object] (usually be inscribed)    1 write or carve (words or symbols) on something, especially as a formal or permanent record: .      mark (an object) with characters:       write an informal dedication to someone in or on (a book):      archaic enter the name of (someone) on a list or in a book; enroll.     2 Geometry draw (a figure) within another so that their boundaries touch but do not intersect: Compare with circumscribe.

The point of origin has no dimension. The point exists in what can only be described as the unknown. The point becomes a vector upon entering linear time and dimensional space. It is at this same exact moment that the point splits becoming a compass symbolic of creative purpose (output) along with measuring its meaning (input). The compass is a tool that forms a feedback loop between the central point/source and the context that inscribes its meaning and purpose.

The field created by pointed inscription is an extended impression of all that is central to the point of its creation. The concept of duality surfaces to become the context where concepts and ideas can be imagined, made apparent and designed.

By means of the compass the point becomes a circle. The compass is an instrument describing a pointed and linear action (projection) about which an arc or circle can be inscribed and made apparent. Emerging from within its self outward and into a quantum field of virtual potential (QFVP) a new and somewhat unrecognizable field of energy is conceived, recognized and embraced. The point at the center of the field/circle harbors the observer of its own creation by means of a virtual extension of its self. The point remaining at the center of the circle represents the soul remaining as the source of it own creation.

compass 2.   an instrument for drawing circles and arcs and measuring distances between points, consisting of two arms linked by a movable joint, one arm ending in a point and the other usually carrying a pencil or pen.

By proxy the soul of the central source becomes projected within a field of its own making. Fragmentation (micro fields) emerge as interests and focus change and alter from the original blueprint (intent). Purposes of growth, knowledge and expansion are exercised by means of creation and observation. As these intentions continue to change, enter and join other fields, spheres and domains of multidimensional expression, new branches and forms of energy appear and disappear in an effervescent dimension between the known and the unknown.

What was once unseen is now seen, measurable and describable. The scope, range and extent of what can be created is now made apparent within the circumference of the circle. The circle describes the limits or boundaries of the source's (center point) creative influence. The circle brings forth symbolic demarcation by representing the concept of twoness (duality), distinguishing "insideness" from "outsideness", light from dark, matter from wave, consciousness from the unconscious and meaning from purpose. (Note: Keep in mind while metaphorically pondering upon these events, you are both an observer and a creator of the same scenario and secondly, the border line is merely a veil made cognitive and apparent by choice.)

3 [in singular] the range or scope of something: the event had political repercussions that are beyond the compass of this book.  the enclosing limits of an area: this region had within its compass many types of agriculture.  the range of notes that can be produced by a voice or a musical instrument: the cellos were playing in a rather somber part of their compass.

A point remains a point until projected beyond its "original position"  and to reach beyond the limitations and constraints surrounding its birth and origin.

DESIGN'S BECOMING

A Quantum Field of Virtual Potential NS Probability (QFVPP) harbors every concept of perfection along with the dualistic/linear processes/methodologies required to experience/attain it. Design re-presents the symbolic and metaphorical circumstances and situations needed to acquire a pointed awareness as required of consciousness.

THE CONICAL (conceptual) FULCRUM:

Conceptual in essence the conical fulcrum is based upon abstract ideas, general notions and impressions. Based upon a plan, intention or conception, a mental picture or groups of objects or impressions, experimental models and testing modes of thinking and/or feeling. Beliefs, hypothesis, opinions, images, convictions and abstractions.

Concepts are defined as abstract ideas or general notions that occur in the mind, in speech, or in thought. They are understood to be the fundamental building blocks of thoughts and beliefs. They play an important role in all aspects of cognition.[1][2] As such, concepts are studied by several disciplines, such as linguistics, psychology, and philosophy, and these disciplines are interested in the logical and psychological structure of concepts, and how they are put together to form thoughts and sentences. The study of concepts has served as an important flagship of an emerging interdisciplinary approach called cognitive science.[3]

In contemporary philosophy, there are at least three prevailing ways to understand what a concept is:[4]

Concepts can be organized into a hierarchy, higher levels of which are termed "superordinate" and lower levels termed "subordinate". Additionally, there is the "basic" or "middle" level at which people will most readily categorize a concept.[5] For example, a basic-level concept would be "chair", with its superordinate, "furniture", and its subordinate, "easy chair".

Diagram
When the mind makes a generalization such as the concept of tree, it extracts similarities from numerous examples; the simplification enables higher-level thinking.

A concept is instantiated (reified) by all of its actual or potential instances, whether these are things in the real world or other ideas.

Concepts are studied as components of human cognition in the cognitive science disciplines of linguistics, psychology and, philosophy, where an ongoing debate asks whether all cognition must occur through concepts. Concepts are used as formal tools or models in mathematics, computer science, databases and artificial intelligence where they are sometimes called classes, schema or categories. In informal use the word concept often just means any idea

All modes of cognition are based on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual patterns.

All forms of design have a meaning and a purpose. All forms of design embrace the potential of going beyond thought and emotion.

Concepts are intuitively driven and made cognitively apparent by means of feeling.

Design fulcrums are synesthesiastic in character.

Synesthesia or synaesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.[3][4][5][6]. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

Balance can be attained by utilizing and implementing both the rational and conical fulcrums of perception and observation. Consciousness is an exercise in balancing each with the other.

* * *

THE RATIONAL (tetrahedral) FULCRUM

In essence, the rational design fulcrum hinges upon the reasonable, logical, clear, sensible, quantifiable, expressible, intelligent, commonsensical, sound, practical, pragmatic, grounded, normal, coherent, balanced, analytical.

The rational fulcrum represents linear thinking and emotional response. Dualistic in character and at times extreme in response, awareness can often appear to be a black or white issue. Balance can cause extreme reactions, misrepresentations and/or ill thought due to a lack of flexibility, adaptability and sequential thinking. One issue may have simply followed another in the past but everything changes - every situation is different. Linear thinking can easily ignore or misinterpret changes in context and observation thereby exhibiting a lack of flexibility necessary when functioning and processing unknown variables.

THE COMMON POINT OF AWARENESS

Each fulcrum comes to a point that corresponds with the intentions of the observer. Perfect balance, i.e. focus, is often short lived, appears in an instant and is a challenge to discover and retain. Gainful awareness is the prize for attaining a productive focus through symbolic expression and expansion. Both fulcrums are pointed in their own unique way facilitating a symbolic POV in reference to every observer. In this way design assists and enables awareness (the center point in every circle) to expand, explore and grow within its own field of consciousness.

Perception is generic. Focus is imperative in every observation. Life is found in the present.

Balance is difficult to find, experience and retain for lengths of time because Life is founded upon the active process of "balancing". Dualities purpose: to seek greater balance through self conscious awareness.
