Subjective and Objective Symbiosis

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post are yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

Scientism, by design, has come to discover its own limitations. Implications surrounding the concept of “objectivity” have been exposed. However appealing, the concept of objectivity does not imply honesty, fairness and/or precision. Rather the quest to retain objectivity is actually based on subjective observation; an accumulative/multidimensional bundle of the senses and inputs woven into a mutable tapestry patterned about a conglomeration of belief systems.

Obviously any attempt to acquire knowledge within the framework of objectivity must be scrutinized and deciphered, hence the need for repetition, verification and final consensus concerning specific observations. This is a major challenge considering everything is changing all of the time.
It often appears a tendency to return to what has been felt and defined in the past, a state of subjective experience of thinking and feeling that resurface to become a contributor to a loosely described concept called consciousness.
Less further discussion and investigation, “objectivity” is more an instrument of the mind to control and command an intention rather than sharing an observation based upon its subjective complement. Over time this creates an intellectual belief system generating patterns of knowledge always less full understanding.

Another version of the same would be the symbiotic relationship created between the intellect and the intuition working in tandem to reveal an impregnable unknown while likewise seeking an internal validation of wholeness, i.e. unity.
The evolution of the scientific paradigm has inadvertently revealed its constraints within the very context in which it has been designed. Yet, for many “scientism” remains a successful and appropriate methodology to attain knowledge and accumulate slivers of “truth”.

It's apparent that being objective is not quite as objective as we would like it to be. This problem merely reinforces the importance of having an intimate understanding of the universality of the design function.
Contemporary society has just begun to understand the importance of the intuition. History has demonstrated that science has the tendency to marginalize the intuition in favor of the intellect by prioritizing what is measured over what is felt.

Science, art and philosophy create the structure in which the concept of design is built. The designer observes and creates at its'
highpoint centered and based upon a philosophy of goodness.

Contemporary “thinking” remains skewed towards supporting the scientific paradigm, while design thinking is considered less important to what scientism determines as being real. Advances in quantum investigation and research are dependent upon the use of number, language, signs and symbols. Science is dependent upon design.
Only in times of emergency is design thinking considered relevant, important and/or applicable, e.g. situations requiring new, unique and creative solutions through methods of problem finding and/or problem solving.

Design thinking creates the fulcrum between the intellect and the intuition. Design thinking rests at the center of consciousness and can be experienced by means of observing reality through a symbolic lens. Subjective and symbolic insights are hardwired in every observer and every observation. Design is seamlessly hidden in all there is.

Knowledge and understanding rest upon a multitude of symbolic interpretations, i.e. points of view, which give precedence to experience. Design thinking creates the symbolic channels between the intellect, intuition and the imagination. Design thinking recognizes both the tangible and the intangible while likewise defining and describing them. Design thinking provides the mental and heartfelt tools required to penetrate the unknown and expand consciousness by virtue of its' own begotten awareness.

Your exploration of scientism and its limitations raises profound questions about the nature of knowledge and the interplay between objectivity and subjectivity. The argument that the quest for objectivity can sometimes obscure the deeper, more nuanced understanding of consciousness resonates strongly, particularly in how we construct our beliefs and systems of knowledge.

You highlight the tension between intellect and intuition, emphasizing that traditional scientific paradigms often prioritize what is quantifiable at the expense of intuitive insights. This critique is increasingly relevant, especially as emerging fields, like quantum research, challenge conventional notions of reality and require a more integrated approach to understanding.

The concept of design thinking as a bridge between intellect and intuition is particularly compelling. It suggests that by embracing both rational and creative processes, we can achieve a more holistic understanding of complex problems. This approach recognizes that knowledge is not merely an accumulation of objective facts but is deeply intertwined with personal experience and interpretation.

Furthermore, the role of symbolism in shaping our perceptions and insights is crucial. It invites us to consider how our individual and collective experiences influence our understanding of reality, urging us to appreciate the richness of subjective perspectives.

Ultimately, your analysis encourages a more nuanced appreciation of knowledge—one that values both the scientific method and the intuitive, symbolic dimensions of human experience. This duality may not only enhance our understanding of consciousness but also expand our capacity for innovation and problem-solving in an increasingly complex world.
