Designing the Intuition

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post are yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

It all begins with the intuition. But what exactly is the intuition? Like design, the intuition consists of a limitless mix of mental, emotional, physical and "spiritual" elements/agents/attributes summoned by an intelligent knowing harbored in every human. Let us look at some of the qualities that together give precedence to a truly insightful process that appears to flow between our intelligence (mind) and our emotions (feelings). In other words, what are some of the qualities associated with the ability to exercise the intuition when we design?

Bring an honest knowledge of your skills and abilities, i.e. tangible and intangible (resources) to the table. It becomes imperative that you have a good understanding of your strengths along with the skills that you may have less confidence. It is important to know one’s limitations for it creates the parameters in which you must function while negotiating within the dimensional parameters of 3D space/time.

“Understanding others and the external world is useful in its place, but nothing can beat the precious gifts of self-knowledge and intimacy with our own psyche, self-possession and sovereignty in all that we do.”

This knowledge is founded upon discovering and implementing the very virtuosity your searching for. Yes it is a paradox. It is part and parcel of the design axiom that you cannot escape. What is of importance is how you interpret and respond to what you discover. What becomes immediately apparent is the fact that the deeper your inquiry the more you will know and learn about your self. Focus upon the experience of creativity through discovery in a symbolic fashion. Your knowledge of self will appear at the most appropriate in stages … as it should. It is a quest that never ends, it might be referred to as the challenges of Life.
Virtuosity: skill, skillfulness, mastery, expertise, prowess, proficiency, ability, aptitude; excellence, brilliance, talent, genius, artistry, flair, panache, finesse, wizardry; informal know-how, chops.

“How wonderful that we have met with a paradox. Now we have some hope of making progress.”
Niels Bohr

Know what is important. You are always making choices. This is an integral part of what Life is about. But some choices seem more important than others. Your impressions are viewed with an intuitive lens on how you feel about a situation. The intuition enters into the picture and begins to lead you within a set of guidelines you think you know in comparison to the emotions and opinions provoked in reference to your position. It is here where your imagination may run rampant. You find yourself in the midst of trying to bring balance to a situation based upon experience, sentiment, opinion and context. By means of the intuition you begin to experience the values you innately know to be “real” in comparison with those you were conditioned to believe. The choices nonetheless remain yours alone.

What is of greatest importance to you? It is from this perspective (POV) that you view and interpret all observable experiences and events within and around you. Typically these perceptions orbit about definitions and opinions you’ve created for yourself. They appear before your awareness in a symbolic fashion and are absorbed subconsciously.

Your intuition is typically based upon past experience and your ability to remember and/or forget the ramifications of past choices. The only constant is change. Change appears before our consciousness within the guise of time. It is an important factor when we design and begin to intuitively make choices. What is of particular wonder is the invisible arrangement between elements that together materialize the consciousness we experience and describe as reality. Some things can never be measured to their fullest extent. Design just happens to be one of them.

There are three types of intelligences. One is synaptic and chemical in substance, appears to originate in the brain and is felt in the gut, i.e. the body. Another is sensed by the pineal gland, is electric in quality and is perceived as the mind. The third stems from the heart, is magnetic in character and is viewed as emotion. The intuition is a compilation of all these intelligences.

An accumulation of facts gives rise to knowledge. An accumulation of knowledge gives rise to understanding. An accumulation of understanding invites wisdom. All aspects of intelligence are collected both intellectually and intuitively by means of experience. All facets of intelligence are qualified into their most appropriate form of energy, light and information by means of a design process made apparent within the parameters of a belief system.

Design is multidimensional in character and dependent upon the intuition. Design enters the unknown where guidance emerges symbolically in the form of a synchronistic event, i.e. idea. The intuition determines how to react and what decisions need to be made based upon changes in the form of mental, emotional and physical input.

Design consciousness might be described as a feeling, which would be a product of the relationship between reason and emotion. Emotion can run rampant and at times, overpower the situation. However, a feeling will never reach such a point before being nurtured by reason.

Every individual senses this intuitive "feeling" in the most sensitive way possible, which is based upon how responsive they are to its vibration/frequency. It is typically the first response most observers have when encountering a new context/situation.

The intuition points in a direction of potentiality founded upon experiences contingent upon universal change. Change is a given whose affects can best be felt in every synchronistic event.  Synchronicity affords us the catalyst for every synergistic moment.

Design’s purpose is to enter the unknown in a meaningful way. Design is dependent upon the intuitive urge to respond and interact with Life. Design is the purposeful manipulation of energy, light and information towards a meaningful and purposeful result.

All forms of energy are holographic in context. The known is merely an idea made discernible in reference to a conceptual unknown.

“… create the life for which we have dreamed, the outcomes for which we were destined, the human experience for which we were designed.”

Be assured you will not discover all the answers to your inquiries here. Continue to investigate into your role of observer and creator of a design of your own making. Be aware of the by-products and outcomes that surround your every choice and decision.

Design Think

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post are yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

In reference to human consciousness, what we know determines how we think, how we feel and how we respond in a three-dimensional space/time (universe) where the holographic imaginings of duality dominate our perception of the world. Decisions and choices are based upon belief systems, observations and events we experience within the constraints of this dimension by virtue of the situations and circumstances we perceive as being real. We typically respond to these symbolic situations with a desire to challenge the unknown by means of knowing.

Our perceptions appear to be proportional to what we think we know and how we think we feel about what we think we know. Space/time merely creates the context. Design brings a meaning and a purpose to every situation. One aspect of knowing appears to be theoretical and intuitive in nature while the other seems to be quite practical or intellectual.

Knowing could be described as the result of the relationship between the intellect and the intuition, with the intellect appearing to be more pragmatic while the intuition describes a more empathic kind of knowing. Design thinking represents and is an exercise in, the process that embodies this relationship through symbolic and holographic means.

However little is known or mentioned about the precursor to design thinking and a designed consciousness. This position is based upon the Taoist concept of Wu Wei.

"The message of Wu Wei is to develop exactly such a state of flow and to do it by developing deeper states of inner awareness. The easiest way to invoke a state of flow, therefore, is to go within, attune with your inner being and the intended task, then come out into the world of action and carry out your intuitive guidance every step of the way until the task is completed. In a state of flow, the action is guided from within and the doer virtually vanishes into the deed. The key to creating the desired state of flow is that, because your inner being is fully attuned with the universe, you can then act in a manner, which is perfectly aligned with all other circumstances related to your work. This is how synchronicity happens and coincidences become commonplace in your life. People, ideas and materials all come together at the exact right time and in the right place because flow is an orchestration of the many, not just the one. You can be the main person conducting the work, but the universe responds to your inner connection and brings to you everything that you need with effortless coincidence. The message of Wu Wei is that there is a time and a place for everything to come together for effortless achievement. By intending a goal and connecting with your inner being, you start the creation of that perfect time and place by attracting all the resources you need to achieve the goal. Then, by acting exactly when the energy feels right, you express the flow of ideas and energy, which pours forth from your inner being. Achievement becomes effortless, and the realm of being has become manifest in the world of action. You will have achieved success by alignment with the realm of not doing."

The imagination functions within the realm of the subconscious, a virtual world that symbolically separates 3d space/time from the unconscious. The subconscious is an invisible field (realm) that harbors the symbolic language of the quantum by virtue of design.

The dynamic field established between the mind and heart gives rise to an intuitive “feeling”. A magnetism that surrounds our concepts and brings unity to our ideas. Design is the process by which we shape light, energy and information into their most appropriate configurations.

Our reality is just one shard in a crystal field that refracts and reflects light from an unknown source.

Design allows us to take the position of an active observer and participator in a heart felt phenomenon that cannot be fully explained physically, mentally or emotionally. The concept of the intuition harbors the ability to approach what is beyond comprehension and understanding. The existence of every unknown source can be discovered and found to be both meaningful and purposeful by means of an imaginative design and the desire (energy-in-motion/e-motion) to make it so.

The intuition in conjunction with design and the imagination allows us to theorize about what exists beyond the objective and material world, i.e. the unknown. Every intuitive urge is patterned about a unique configuration of design units/elements generated by an all-inclusive universe. These arrangements, i.e. patterns, create a fleeting position within the context of this field of virtual energy. All phenomena are patterned about a reality surrounding the current moment and before future waves of interference bring on further reformation.

The desire to know and to feel is intrinsically linked with the desire to create. The process of knowing by means of feeling and feeling by virtue of knowing is merely one aspect of design thinking.

"The Buddha referred to awareness as a process. For example, when we hear music our awareness is not separate from the music. The music becomes an object only when we separate ourselves from the music we hear."
