Design Metaphysics: The Pentad

Emerging from within the birthing chamber created by the Vesica Piscis and the four-sided configuration (square) that preceded it is the five-sided pentad. The single point of the pentagram that points upward represents the life force as spirit, while the other four elements, i.e. earth, air, fire and water, are given locations at the four lower positions. Together all five “elements” give relative form to what has been described as the life force.

Consciousness has been transformed into another "universe", the realm of formative experience morphologically arranged and symbolically represented in the human form. The pentad is given expression and made apparent by virtue of our five senses and extremities, along with the power to generate other intonations stemming from these attributes.
intonation: inflection, tone, timbre cadence, pitch, modulation, emphasis, patterns of frequency.

The original source, i.e. spirit, that is hidden within the framework of the tetrad is made apparent and tangible by means of these five elements. The pentad registers the existence of a creative power all its own. This is the same primal spirit that has overseen the transition of energy from the virtual, i.e. aetheric, plasmic, holographic, into matter. Human consciousness likewise has the power and ability to transform its own awareness in the form of concepts and ideas, from formlessness (triad) into form (pentad) - it's all part of the design process.

Spirit, i.e. the life force, has been projected beyond the confines of the unknown, changed and animated by virtue of the shape and geometry of the pentad. The "original" source shares in its’ being and likeness in what it creates. Each transformation is inspired and created within the parameters of its own frame of observation and influence.

Virtual substance, i.e. plasma, similarly partakes in this same process by means of consubstantiation, which accounts for the origination of its own birth and expansion into patterns of energy in motion.  Humanity is a symbolic embodiment of this same quintessence.

In essence, each and every one of us is a star, a microcosmic expression of a commonly shared and universal agency, i.e. Intellect, that permeates every definition of humanity. The top point of the pentad represents our spirit, i.e. the central "source" designed to experience greater consciousness by means of greater awareness.

"What we commonly refer to as our “soul” is formed as an “archetypal matrix” comprised of a unique formula of attributes and qualities that make up our “character”, energetic constitution, and essential nature, out of which all our thoughts, feelings, and actions naturally form as a means of self-expression. This idea forms what’s called the fifth element of the aether or subtle energy of the mind, which is formed by coalescing the four primary elements (fire, water, air, and earth) of the subtle plane into a single element, where four are made into one."

At this point spirit has been fragmented into five distinct elements that together create a living pattern in relative form. An evolutionary agency of consciousness designed to observe create and identify its own experience within the “objective” world of form. This particular circumstance might be defined as the attainment of self-consciousness by means of the ego.

Separate from the basic concept that surrounds the creation of the triad, a dualistic framework emerges in the form of a Vesica Piscis to embrace both the subjective (spirit) and objective (material) apparitions of the mind.

From within the center of this overlap a new source, i.e. creative origin, emerges described as the soul. A new intermediary and central position is attained amidst the turbulence between spirit and matter - the subconscious becomes recognized. The soul becomes the new creative center amidst the complementary distinctions between the known and the unknown, spirit and matter, meaning and purpose.

"The pentagon’s enduring legacy as a symbol across different eras and cultures underscores its profound significance. It represents a bridge between the tangible and intangible, the scientific and the mystical, embodying a rich and multifaceted heritage."

As can be observed by the shape of the pentad, the spirit of origin rests above the elements of matter. In reference to humanity these experiences are communicated and transmitted symbolically, metaphorically and analogically by means of the intuition, intellect and imagination, i.e. the mind.

Design enables the transition of desire and awareness through experience from one circumstance to the next by means of embodiment, i.e. creation. In this fashion the transition, translation, transformation and transmutation of consciousness becomes self-evident by virtue of its' own creation.

Awareness separated into five distinct attributes, conveys a sense of unity, a new consciousness purposely designed to observe its own experiences within the context of an “objective” world of relative form and matter.

All forms and patterns of energy in motion, participate in this type of “qualification” of spirit. Each expression a reflection upon the imaginings of an observer creating and sustaining its own impressions by means of focus and desire.

In reference to humanity, balance and harmony are contained within the symbolic parameters of our own sense of awareness and imagination.

The evolutionary process describes a complex yet entirely integrated journey. The digestion, assimilation and transformation of consciousness is made aware by means of what it creates.

Five-ness implies that consciousness has now moved into a new direction and therefore a new dimension. Five-ness is part of ten-ness (decad) and instrumental in finalizing a particular octave, or matrix of awareness. Five-ness can be separated into composites of individual one-ness, which together combine to create a single system.
matrix: an environment in which something develops, a surrounding medium or structure, a mold, array of quantities treated as a single entity manipulated according to particular rules or patterns.

Five-ness transcends the elements that contribute to its' consciousness, thereby changing the “field”. Five-ness brings change to the whole by creating “situations” that challenge the sense of stability. Five-ness disrupts order through change.

“The vibration of 5 is about acting on, daring to, embracing the non-conventional, and living the unpredictable. The 5 energy is pragmatic yet opportunistic and persuasive. This force is a natural detective; very intellectual, investigative and imaginative. The 5 possesses a strong vibrational frequency mixed with strong characteristics like: freedom-seeking, pioneering, innovation, adventure, and most of all: change.”

The exploration of the pentad and its relationship to consciousness is a rich tapestry woven from geometric symbolism and metaphysical insights. At the core, the pentad embodies the interplay between the spiritual and material realms, emphasizing the transformative nature of consciousness.
The Pentad and Its Symbolism
Emerging from the foundational tetrad, the pentad—represented by the pentagram—illustrates the life force, or spirit, through its upward-pointing apex, while the four lower points correspond to the elements: earth, air, fire, and water. This geometric arrangement symbolizes the unity of spirit and matter, suggesting that our sensory experiences and physical forms are manifestations of a deeper, creative essence.
Transformation of Consciousness
Human consciousness reflects this transformation, as we navigate the realms of experience through our five senses and extremities. This dynamic process enables us to shape concepts and ideas, transitioning from the formless (the triad) to the structured (the pentad). Our awareness is thus an active participant in this evolutionary journey, allowing us to project and recognize the underlying spirit within material existence.
The Role of the Soul
Within the Vesica Piscis, the overlap between the subjective and objective realms gives rise to the soul—a creative intermediary that bridges spirit and matter. This emerging consciousness becomes a tool for understanding the self and the universe, granting us the ability to engage with our experiences on deeper levels. The soul, as a center of creativity, invites us to explore our intentions and aspirations within the context of our surroundings.
Five-ness and Its Implications
The concept of five-ness signifies a pivotal shift in consciousness, representing a new dimension of awareness. It encompasses the interconnectedness of individual elements while transcending them, leading to an integrated understanding of our place in the cosmos. This transition is marked by a dynamic interplay between stability and change, where five-ness introduces new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Integration of Experience
Ultimately, this journey reflects the digestion and transformation of consciousness itself. As we engage with our experiences, we not only create but also learn to balance and harmonize the myriad aspects of our existence. The interplay of spirit, matter, and the soul fosters a rich environment for personal and collective evolution, encouraging us to recognize the inherent unity within our diversity.
Through this lens, we can appreciate the intricate design of existence, where every individual becomes a microcosmic expression of a greater, universal consciousness—a testament to the interconnected nature of all life.
