Design Metaphysics: The Tetrahedron


Conceptual impressions surrounding this post have yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.


Four triangular faces along with six edges meeting at four vertices together describe the regular tetrahedronThe tetrahedron is the root of all entanglements that shape the perceivable bonds that hold life together in this dimension. The regular tetrahedron can be found at the source of all three-dimensional forms and is fundamental in the creation of all patterns and holographic configurations.

“All of the definable structuring of Universe * is tetrahedrally coordinate in rational number increments of the tetrahedron. By tetrahedron, we mean the minimum thinkable set that would subdivide the Universe and have the interconnectedness where it comes back upon itself. The basic structural unit of physical Universe quantation, tetrahedron has the fundamental prime number oneness.”

*Fuller's geometric explorations provide an experiential basis for designing and refining a philosophical language. His overarching concern was the co-occurring relationship between tensile and compressive tendencies within an eternally regenerative Universe. "Universe" is a proper name he defined in terms of "partially overlapping scenarios" while avoiding any static picture or model of same. His Universe was "non-simultaneously conceptual":
Because of the fundamental nonsimultaneity of universal structuring, a single, simultaneous, static model of Universe is inherently both nonexistent and conceptually impossible as well as unnecessary. Ergo, Universe does not have a shape. Do not waste your time, as man has been doing for ages, trying to think of a unit shape "outside of which there must be something," or "within which, at center, there must be a smaller something." (307.04)
U = MP described a first division of Universe into metaphysical and physical aspects, the former associated with invisibly cohesive tension, the latter with energy events, both associative as matter and disassociative as radiation. (162.00)
Synergetics also distinguished between gravitational and precessional relationships among moving bodies, the latter referring to the vast majority of cosmic relationships, which are non-180-degree and do not involve bodies "falling in" to one another (130.00 533.01, 1009.21). "Precession" is a nuanced term in the synergetics vocabulary, relating to the behavior of gyroscopes, but also to side-effects. (326.13, 1009.92)


The tetrahedron has the capacity to mirror and reflect upon itself, which in turn creates the framework required for energy to be made "conscionable as an event and/or experience". This arrangement is result of a number of juxtapositioned wave patterns that together give rise to a distinct geometry, i.e. a template about which other virtual, holographic and material forms can be generated. 

The tetrahedron is the product of an event/experience structured about a single consubstantial "source" emerged from within an unidentifiable field of virtual energy - a quantum field of virtual potential and probability (QFVPP). A micro/macro field revolves/evolves about a central "source" as result of a relationship designed and created between two seemingly contrasting fields of spiraling energy, both dancing within the forces of attraction and repulsion. 

Emotion might best be described as energy-in-motion (desire/attraction). Human emotion characterizes, classifies and conceptualizes this event/experience as a plunge into the unknown (QFVPP), i.e. a point of focus in motion, which when observed within the framework of time and space, becomes identified as a vector of energy in motion. 

This centralized point becomes a vector/impulse possessing direction, magnitude and determination. This thrust has been conceptualized, designed and made to symbolize a multitude of gods and forces both in Nature and the Universe. The moving point is brought to Life by virtue of its motion in time and space. The vector brings meaning and purpose (design) to the desires and attractions stemming from this original source.  

However, the emergence of  two fields (Yin/Yang) are actually one in the same and in affect, together symbolize a single source and wholeness from which all other events/forms are created. This same proposition supports the concept of design as being one in the same with consciousness, e.g. kama/manas.


A primary vector is a single point in motion and like light it can fragment, scatter, interfere and integrate with other vector impulses that virtually create the QFVPP. The point becoming a line is analogized symbolically in the definition of Light as being both particle and wave. Attractive and repulsive forces/desires are constantly reconfigured/redesigned changing every "situation" through endless fragmentation, diffusion and dispersion (radiation). 

A field describes the diffusion of energy in motion in the form of a duality (waves and particles) of vibratory energy, light and information. The quantum field of virtual potential (QFVPP) might be described as an ever changing entanglement of energy in motion, an ambient aura observed by means of its own attendance. 
diffusion  dissemination, scattering, dispersal, diaspora, distribution, circulation, propagation, transmission, broadcasting, promulgation.
attendance  presence, appearance.     2 the attendance was dismal: turnout, audience, house, gate, box office; crowd, congregation, gathering. ANTONYMS  absence.

3D space/time is quantum, virtual, plasmic, holographic, fractal all woven within the fabric of time. Energy in motion adapts to conditions and contexts that exist both within and outside the field in which it is observed (consciousness). Energy in motion transforms itself from within. (see Design Metaphysics: The Torus) Energy in motion is made manifest by means of this toroidal motion.  

Friction due to attraction and repulsion cause separation, fragmentation and modulation. Resistance transforms a field of energy in motion into a cacophony of interacting forces that directly and indirectly effect and affect one another. 

Energy in the form of light and information becomes recognizable due to archetypal patterning. Order through unity is central to the configuration of these archetypes. Rooted in the center and thrust forward by desire and attraction the whole design process is made cognizant and symbolically apparent within the field of the imagination.









The QFVP embodies a multitude of  consubstantial fields and vectors where the concepts of space and time have a meaning and purpose. Virtual in character and definition, toroidal emergence becomes the result of a concentrated focus. Toroidal patterns/fields along with the capacity for achieving greater consciousness, increase with awareness. 

In essence, energy, light and information take on many virtual formations by means of the imagination. These patterns/fields of energy in motion surface/emerge from awareness into the form/formation of images, colors, sounds, feelings, thought, matter, spirit, etc. The QFVPP harbors the imagined expressions of this common Singularity. 

The tetrahedron is symbolized by fire. The tetrahedron alludes to a will (intention) and a desire to be made manifest by means of an energy in motion spiraling within and outside a toroidal field of ethereal "substance". These events are archetypal, unobservable and exist in the QFVP beyond sentient recognition.

“Two Triangular Energy Events Make Tetrahedron: The open-ended triangular spiral can be considered one “energy event” consisting of an action, reaction and resultant. Two such events (one positive and one negative) combine to form the tetrahedron.”


Design consciousness brings order to chaos. Design's first configuration in relative "substance" appears in the form of the tetrahedron. Design/consciousness is forever changing due the timeless number of consubstantial events that exist potentially within the virtual field of its own desires. Design consciousness is fueled and set afire by the heat and friction generated by what it creates. These events and experiences appear within the quantum field of one's own emotions (EIM). 



Consciousness observes and is an integral part of the QFVP. Choices determine and therefore create, the duality which is you. Focus is of primary importance when observing any situation from a position/point of "separation."




The etheric/plasmic field surrounding each tetrahedron is non-sentient in substance. Each tetrahedron is sustained by quantum forces that bring unity and wholeness to its composition. In reference to 3D space/time, the vectors of tension and compression will find their own balance within the construct of every tetrahedron. 

In reference to humanity, 3D space/time is the dominant field in which all geometric events and experiences appear and emerge. In reference to parallel dimensions, every event is interchangeable by means of it own unique type of vibratory geometry. * 

Design allows for the transformation of consciousness from one dimension to another through a multi universal system of geometric patterning, a symbolic network created and revealed by patterns of energy in motion. Humanity sensually perceives, interprets and transforms these patterns as feeling/s firmly imprinted within the realm of its own consciousness (e-motion).
* the current system holding the socially accepted key to these transformations (design/s) is mathematics. Other designed networks can achieve similar results, e.g. art, music, dance, literature, science etc. All forms of ELI are created in their own unique fashion by "agents" designed specifically to support/sustain them, ex. every atom, cell, molecule,and organ when in coordination also inform you. Each system/matrix/network shares in its own unique pattern within a collective field of ELI in their own special way. 

Qualities contained in every field of consciousness are multidimensionally represented in the design of all its creations. Likewise, the intentions and desires behind every design is subtly veiled within every configuration. Each vector takes-on the vibratory appearances of energy, light and information. The forces that allow every form to appear "real" stem from the qualities of the field (system) that creates and sustains it. Design consciousness symbolically knows, prescribes and perceives every harmonic field as being an original source that is centered in every field of change/energy.




The regular tetrahedron is a form of pyramid having a base triangle that can be viewed from every perspective. Each face has a collective point of common reference. Each point/vertices, i.e. perspective, shares in in its "materialization" in 3D space/time. Each position participates in the realization of a quantum event and experience. Each of the four points could be considered a focal point from which the perspective of a potential "source" can be positioned both within and outside the volumetric constraints of the tetrahedron. 


Each point (4) represents a position representing an energy in motion when viewed as a line/vector (6) and in relation to the other points of view that together give relative form and volume to space by means of (4) surfaces being generated between them. Each vertex has the potential for becoming a center (source) about which other vectors and contrasts can likewise be projected. 


Every vector/field of energy in motion making "contact" with another vector/field beyond its measurable parameters also harbors a potential for birthing other forms of ELI as result of a dynamic, swirling, twisting and spiraling exchange of ELI between them. This same field can appear to be transformed by becoming 
tetrahedral in geometry and toroidal in shape and balance. This is one reason why Bucky viewed the tetrahedron as "The basic structural unit of the physical Universe."

The four points of the tetrahedron could be interpreted as the four classical elements  of earth, air, fire and water.

These four elements might also be interpreted as four equilateral triangles on each face of a regular tetrahedron. Many classical worldviews include a fifth quintessential element described as an aether that exists beyond the material world. This concept can be depicted as a circle drawn around an equilateral triangle.

The spherical shape (extremes equidistant in all directions from the center) of the cosmos revolves on axis. The cosmos is a single complete whole consisting of parts that are wholes. The body of the cosmos contains all possible figures within it. Nothing can be taken from or added to it. It is designed to supply its own nourishment from its own decay.”

Note: A regular dodecahedron is also claimed to represent ether in the series of Platonic Solids as energy that is slowly approaching the form of a sphere in relative form.



Like all regular polyhedra the tetrahedron first materializes from within the center of its own quantum source, i.e. sphere/field, which is a microcosmic unit of change/energy originating within the depths of the unknown, i.e. unconscious. About the center of this common attraction/desire/intent all vector/fields of EIM seek balance. These same forces aggregate in 3D space/time by taking on the shape and form of a tetrahedron.

“Within it (tetrahedron) lies the energy that holds all life together. The bonds that hold atoms, particles and molecules together, all the way down to nanoparticles and all the way up to macroparticles, are tetrahedral. Everything that exists as you conceive of it in a 3-dimensional world, is held together by these tetrahedral bonds.”

Within this same fundamental geometry every regular tetrahedron will possess an orthocenter where vector/fields are drawn together from three separate pairs of opposite edges and thereby creating a central point, which also happens to be the center of the circumscribing sphere that encloses it. 

Essentially at the center of every virtual field that surrounds every virtual "form" in the universe is a vector field of its own design and creation. 

Hypothesis: Entanglement measures the context of an analogous vibration whose magnitude is confined within the parameters of observation, and where the concept of change rides the paradox of a waveform measured but not necessarily perceived, within the parameters of a timeless moment.  

The basic building blocks of the universe are made apparent in 3D space/time by virtue of the tetrahedron becoming “formed” about its own virtual pattern and geometry.

Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon that occurs when a group of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in a way such that the quantum state of each particle of the group cannot be described independently of the state of the others, including when the particles are separated by a large distance. The topic of quantum entanglement is at the heart of the disparity between classical and quantum physics: entanglement is a primary feature of quantum mechanics lacking in classical mechanics.


Centers of awareness are designed to be both inside and outside every holographic field. Energy, information and light are simply modified by the angles created between these central points of reference and observation; points (vertices) projected in the form of a line/vector being reflected and refracted within the faces/parameters of a regular tetrahedron.

Formations of energy are made apparent, i.e. holographic, in 3D space/time, by means of those geometric principles designed and configured within the field of the regular tetrahedron. Expansions into more complex formations of energy are dependent upon toroidal changes caused by internal and/or external conditions.
